One of the factor reason for such high electricity usage is from uncontrolled air-conditioner usage or abuse.
eg: AC is turned on all the time even when no one is in the unit.

Introduction of Avenirlab Smart Energy Saving System
Smart wireless sensors are placed around the rental unit to detect any human presence.
Control hub will then control the AC unit to turn off when there’s nobody in the unit to avoid AC abuse.
